Frequently Asked Questions
The Process
How does it all work?
Getting your dream is super easy.
Step One: You need to finalise your budget and your design. Contact us if you need our experts to guide you with this!
Step Two: We will then send you an email invoice, where we ask for a 10% deposit. This is to complete the designs for your ring and hand-pick the perfect diamond for it. This is done via email, Instagram dms or WhatsApp. This is completely refundable if you don't like the designs we produce. We'll start the build process once you're happy with the design and the diamond.
Step Three: We then ask for 40% to be paid (so you’ve paid 50% at this point), to get the build started! After 2-3 weeks, we’ll send you a photo of the finished ring, ready for collection from our London office or we can deliver it to you anywhere around the world.
Step Four: You can settle the final 50% when you collect or before it’s shipped.
We accept payment by paypal or any payment card, including AMEX via a secure and insured Shopify payment gateway.
How long does the process take?
Once the design and diamond are approved by you, it takes us 2-3 weeks to bring your ring to life. We will send you a photo once the ring is ready and you're welcome to collect it or we can ship it to you!
Do you have a store for me to try on rings?
No. Rather than following in the industry's footsteps and charging you extortionate prices for engagement rings to make up the cost of the store, we pass on the savings to you! We recommend our customers to try on rings in store before asking us to make your ring so you can get the best diamond and the highest quality craftsmanship for our very affordable prices.
Do you have any waranty or after sale support?
We stand beind everything we create. Every ring has a lifetime warranty which covers all repairs.
How can I trust they are real?
All our diamonds are certified. As with mined diamonds there is a strict grading process to achieve certification which is applied to all lab diamonds. All our diamonds are certified by GIA, IGI or CTI grading houses, meaning that you can still search for stones with particular clarity, cut and colour.
How can I get a ring?
You can either shop for rings on this website directly or get in touch with us over email, whatsapp, instagram or one of our contact forms and one of our experts will guide you through the whole process.
Can I collect my ring once it's ready?
Yes, you're welcome to collect it from our store in Hatton Garden, London. If not, we're happy to ship it to you anywhere in the world.
Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?
Lab-grown diamonds are exactly the same chemically, sturcturally and in every visible way. They are even produced in the exact same conditions. In the case of lab-grown diamonds,s these conditions are just recreated in a lab.
Can you tell the difference between lab-grown diamonds and earth-mined ones?
Simple Answer: No. Since a lab-grown diamond appears identical to a mined diamond, even most jewelers won't be able to tell the difference. (Assuming, of course, that the diamond has no girdle inscriptions). However, jewelers who are also trained gemologists may be able to tell whether a diamond is lab-grown with the aid of a powerful microscope. Still, the only way to be certain is to send it to a gemological laboratory.
How are lab-grown diamonds produced?
Lab Diamonds, as the name suggests are diamonds grown in a laboratory which replicates the exact conditions of the earth's surface in which natural diamonds are found. There are two processes used in the creation of these diamonds; HPHT (high pressure high temperature) and CVD (chemical vapour deposition).
HPHT: Pure carbon is treated with extreme heat and intense pressure with electrical pulses. Over time the carbon breaks down and crystalises and eventually forms a diamond.
CVD: A tiny sliver of diamond is placed in a chamber filled with carbon rich gas. Under extreme heat the gas ionises and the particles stick to the original sliver of diamond. Eventually these particles crystalise to form a complete diamond. The blueprint for each diamond is completely different therefore every crystal grown in a lab is unique and one of a kind.
Are diamonds a good investment?
Simply speaking, No. In most cases, neither lab-grown nor earth-mined diamonds retain their value over time. Only some rare, coloured diamonds are considered investment assets. Therefore, we recommend you pick the diamond and ring based on what you would most enjoy during lifetime, or something you'd like to pass on to your children for sentimental reasons rather than for investment purposes.
Why are lab-grown diamonds cheaper?
Lab-grown diamonds can be grown on demand without the hefty investment, land ownership and all the rights needed for mining. While the diamond industry spends a lot of money to create the perception that diamonds very rare, the main reason for their high prices is the cost in bringing them to market. This isn't the case with lab-diamonds. In our case in particular, we don't have a physical store or hold large amounts of stock. We create each ring custom to each of our clients so can bring these rings to you at very low wholesale prices!
Are lab-grown diamonds really more ethical?
The diamond industry has been linked to unethical practise since colonial times and even went so far as to cause a Human Rights Disaster in parts of Africa. The situation worsened as 'blood diamonds' or 'conflict diamonds' were being used to fund military action in war zones. On top of this there is the human cost to the local communities. The working conditions in these mines are often very dangerous, with untrained miners at risk of injury through inadequate training, poor equipment or landslides. Not to mention the exploitation of child labour.Whilst there have been many positive changes to the industry in recent years and the certification system has done much to eradicate unethical trading; the only way to gaurantee a completely ethically produced diamond is to choose a lab grown diamond.
Are lab-grown diamonds really more environmentally friendly?
We do not need any scientific facts to safely state that huge diamond mines are bad for the environment. Some of these holes are so large they can be seen from space so the negative impact on local ecosystems and wildlife is undeniable. However we must be careful not to overstate the environmental benefits of lab diamonds. They are after all, made in factories which rely on fossil fuels to run the technological processes so their carbon emmisions are far from neutral. We have to look at the situation as a whole and when we consider each of these diamond processes from start to finish, it is widely agreed that the environmental damage caused by earth mined diamonds far outweighs the damage caused by lab diamonds, so they really are a sustainable choice for the future.

Having looked at various jewellers for a specific diamond ring, I met up with George who walked me through sizes, colours, clarity and costs. I was amazed at what George was able to provide for my budget. I ordered a single diamond 1.25 carat and paid the asking fee. Within 15 working days the most beautiful diamond ring was delivered together with all paperwork. Would highly recommend this company.

Bought my wedding band from George and absolutely love it - must admit I was skeptical as found his account on instagram. However I was not disappointed. It's beautiful. The service received was excellent. The ring took 3 weeks to make - and communication throughout was quick, effortless and without any pressure, all in all a seamless service and an excellent price.
