We only use diamonds certified by GIA, IGI or CTI grading house as these are the most reliable. While colour and clarity are the best indicators of quality, our experts guide you on cuts and settings that make your diamond appear clearer while staying in your budget.

On top of all this, there is the human cost to the local communities. The working conditions in mines are dangerous, not to mention the exploitation of child labour. Whilst the certification system has done much to eradicate unethical trading; the only way to gaurantee a completely ethically produced diamond is to choose one that is grown in a laboratory. This is why Love Grown Diamonds guarantees this and only works with lab-grown diamonds.

However, we must be careful not to overstate the environmental benefits of lab diamonds. The process to make them still relies on fossil fuels so their carbon emmisions are far from neutral. However, it is widely agreed that lab-grown diamonds cause far less damage than earth-mined ones, so they really are a sustainable choice for the future.
